Rewards and Recognition
Monthly Bonus is awarded to each employee based on achievement of the Divisional, Department and Functional objectives.
Employee / Team of the Month Awards are based on innovative, sustainable and breakthrough performance for the month, over an above the monthly objectives.
CEO Kitty Award: This quarterly award recognizes and rewards innovative, sustainable and breakthrough performance for the business quarter.

Platinum Club: Recognizes outstanding performers in the organization by creating an exclusive club and helps to identify future leaders within the organization. The award recognizes business achievements as well as demonstration of organization values. The members of the Platinum Club are provided with fast track career growth, special increments over and above normal increments, nomination for exclusive training programs including overseas programs and special bonus additional to SMIS.

Education and Training:
Training & Development: The Company maintains an annual Training and Development Calendar and 5 days of training per year are ear-marked for each employee based on their training and development needs identified during the half-yearly and annual appraisal process.
The Executive MBA Program: The Company invests in the tuition fees for its employees that enables working professionals to acquire a post graduate diploma in Management thereby building on their professional expertise and enhancing their competencies to value add to them when they move into a General Management role .
Reference Library: Each location has a well-stocked reference library of books, journals and industry related literature.

Vacations/Time Off
Holidays: Ten scheduled paid holidays are offered per year.

Movie Screenings, Family Day Out, Sterlite Sports Day, Celebrations for Festivals and Parties are some of the exciting events that are organized each month at individual locations.
‘Akansha’ is a Ladies Club that is run and managed by spouses of employees. The Club takes an active role in CSR activities initiated by the Company.
